A new breed of scamming is coming up with clever ways to find a loop around our security measures. As the amount of fakeness increase around us, we would like to let you know of certain technical difficulties we are facing, very much like other apps. Past week, we have been notified that there are few fake sellers on the app, who appear to be genuine and lure you into their traps. How they do this is by uploading good quality products to grab the buyer’s attention with a promise to deliver the products in time. They tend to redirect the users outside the app, for example to other means of contact like WhatsApp and Facebook with the false promise of good bargains and negotiations. We would like for all our users to be careful and keep an eye out for any seller trying to do this sort of interactions and inform us immediately.  This is in care to make sure we don’t let spam get to you! Spoyl will do everything possible to ban such users from communicating further.

Just how there are fake sellers there are a lot of fake buyers too. They order the product and doesn’t end up paying for the product. This happens because the products are delivered before the seller receives the amount. This happens through the transaction done outside our app platform. So we would strictly advise you to make sure the transactions happen via the app. Because the buyer has to pay for the item before hand and the app process the payment only after the buyer receives the product and verifies it.

Here are a few set of guidelines we would like you to follow for your own safety.

SELLERS

  • Be sure to give the terms and conditions on the app a good read, before you forward with any sort of trade.

Don't let spam get to you

  • Assure to keep all the transactions strictly within the Spoyl app. This would help us track down any issues you face during the process.
  • You are 100% protected when you place an order through Spoyl. We acquire the payment from the buyer and keep it in the hold with us to make sure you receive the payment on order fulfilment.

Don't let spam get to you

  • We make sure through the app that you don’t get delayed on your payment from the buyer and that you get a fair trade.
  •  And you know you always have us. So, if you are facing any problem while in the app, you can give us a heads-up by writing to us at care@spoyl.in.

BUYERS

  • Assure to keep all the transactions strictly within the Spoyl app. This would help us track down any issues you face during the process.
  • Buyer has the facility to share product images and media files through our chat window. Thereby, if you were contacting the seller through other communication sources, for this reason, please converse through the app only.

Don't let spam get to you

  • You are 100% protected when you place an order through Spoyl. The payment will not be released to the seller until you’ve received your item and verify that the item is as described in the listing.
  • You have 36 hours from the time of delivery to verify with us about the product.  After the 36 hours, we will not be able to take up any claims for returns.

  • If you haven’t received an item you ordered, please go to the Main Menu> My Orders tab inside your app and check the status of the order. This could only be done if the placing of the product was done through the app and no other means.
  • If you are facing any problem while in the app, you can give us a heads-up by writing to us at care@spoyl.in.
