Classic black, lacy, stringy, bejewelled or plain wide chokers, they came at us in every way, shape and form. From bloggers to celebrities and everyone in between, this trend has been a craze and it seems that it shall be carried well into 2017 as well, we’re not complaining!
This romantic silhouette has become a wardrobe staple of several fashion mavens everywhere and had a major moment in 2016. Whether tasseled, frilly or ruffled, they were a favourite amongst many and still continue to be!
Right off the runway with luxe pyjamas, 90’s slip dresses or simply uber stylish bomber jackets – Satin has made a splash and earned its keeps in every fashion lovers wardrobe. Covetable, sexy and oh-so chic.

If only we had a dollar for every time we spotted blush pink this year! This trend was only majorly boosted with Pantone declaring Rose Quartz, a blushing hue of pink as one half of the color of the year for 2016. From sneakers, to bomber jackets to bucket bags – blush pink was everywhere!

In 2016, Adidas was the coolest brand in fashion. You couldn’t help but notice Stan Smiths, Adidas Originals Superstars or the Trefoil logo t-shirts almost everywhere. And with that being said, the athleisure game came out strong with white sneakers being a central source to the athleisure style and uber cool look. It goes without saying that athleisure and the white sneaker look was one of the hotter fashion trends of 2016.
